Friends and family,

One of Julie's dear friends, Susie, sent me this priceless email that Julie sent around about herself nearly 3 years ago. This thoughtful email was only months before we found Julie's tumor. She sent this the day after her birthday. I hope some of you enjoy this as much as I do every time I read it again. I remember her showing this to me before she sent it. So here it is, a letter from Julie Johnson Stout.

  1. Tarantula Feeder at the National Orkin Insect Zoo (D.C.)
     (Really cool... I held Madagascar cockroaches, beetles and   
     cockroaches.)
  2. Civil War Researcher at the National Archives (D.C.)
     (Learned that most civil war vets over 6 feet tall were shot in the
     head, and the definition of piles... uh!)
  3. Home Health Aide
     (Three of my clients died.)
  4. BYU History Dept Cartographer
     (Compiled digital maps of the spread of Attila the Hun)

 Four Movies I Would Watch Over and Over:

Here's my addition

Four things I've done that others might not know about
1. Sang in a commercial at the request of Michael McClain (He made fun
of my voice.)
2. Dissected a human cadaver for a BYU class
3. A successful foster mom to a paiute teenage son (five years younger
than me).  Capoeira was heavensent.
4. Slept in the BYU library overnight, hid from the security guards and
then posted signs everywhere saying "Unbeknownst to the library guards,
this part of the library has been taken over by the Communists."
